Gracie Barra Havering “Terms and Conditions”
The Gracie Barra Havering Membership for both kids and adults is paid via direct debit. The club uses gocardless as a service provider for direct debit payments. The direct debit comes with no contract and can be cancelled by you at any time by contacting us at [email protected] and giving 4 weeks a notice period that you would like to cancel. The direct debit membership plan comes with the benefit of cheaper classes, if a students misses classes during any period, for any reason, no refunds can be made. Similarly, if you miss a number of months of training, you do not become in arrears and due a refund, or able to delay further payments for a period of time missed. If you pick up an injury or illness during your membership please make us aware by emailing [email protected] and we will arrange for your payments to be frozen while you recover.
Cancellation of membership
You can cancel your membership at anytime by contacting us at [email protected] with the instruction that your wish to cancel. Your payments will stop after four weeks from notice of cancellation.
Additional payments for Guest Seminars
Occasionally we invite guest instructors to our club to teach seminars. It is not compulsory that students attend these seminars but they can replace existing classes in our class schedule. No refunds of any kind can be given for this lose of class. We instead encourage you to attend the seminars and pay additional fees if applicable.
Payments for guest seminars are to be taken at least two weeks before the event to guarantee a place and is non-refundable. The payment acts as a deposit for the seminar.
Holiday Season Closures
Typically the club is subject to closures during the Christmas period for up to two weeks but can sometimes remain open depending on hall availability. No refunds can be made for this training time lost. Similarly, you do not become in arrears and due a refund, or able to delay further payments for a period of time missed due to the holiday period.
As well as the Christmas period, the Children’s classes are also subject to a two week closure during the “summer school term time” . No refunds can be made for this training time lost. Similarly, you do not become in arrears and due a refund, or able to delay further payments for a period of time missed due to the holiday period. This two week closure can differ/change depending on the clubs circumstances so please ask the instructor to clarify the dates. We may change these Terms and Conditions without letting you know and therefore it is up to you to check this page for any changes. By entering into our membership via go cardless means that you have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you should cancel your membership right away.
